Kass had awoken alone in the Leaders’ Den to the cool moss left behind by a long-gone Hollystar. Her bi-colored eyes opened one by one to adjust to the light filtering into the hollowed out log until she was conscious enough to roll onto her stomach and stretch out her muscles. Maybe she would go for a run today, build up some more endurance and scope out the land. Despite her new role within ThunderClan’s ever evolving gossip, Kass couldn’t help but dislike all the attention. There were times where the whispers became too invasive and Kass knew they were starting to expect her to have grown soft. As if.
If anything she was the exact opposite, her muscles ached for attention with a renewed fervor, her ears missed the satisfying crunch of a victim. It was like a game to her, one she was certainly missing more than she was letting on to her new nest-mate. Kass stood and stretched some more before exiting the den with the intent to exit the clan swiftly and with more pomp than normal.
The rogue padded swiftly across the clearing, eyeing those who dared to stare and clicking her canines menacingly towards them. Bite me, she thought to herself with a roll of her eyes before her blue-calico body made it out from under the two trees which made the clan’s entrance.PeachParticipant@peachJune 9, 2019 at 11:19 pm #1184

Wad of cobwebs filled the mollys jaws, dust kicked up around her creamy paw of the trotting apprentice. The she cat try to refrain from leaving the camp without Snarlingbadger but after their current discovery the apprentice just needed some time alone. Soft humming followed the she cats trotting rhythm, restocking the den was today’s agenda. The medicine cats den semi-permanent visitor had recently stopped hanging around the den, leaving the she cat more time to focus on her studies. With the apprentices club pitching in now she had eyes on Kass at all times, knowing what the she cat was up to at almost every hour.
An annoyed growl found its way into the air when the sight of a certain feline fell into view. Her ears flattened against her skull, eyes rolling in the process, what is she doing here, the words practically spat in her head. Letting out a long sigh Peachpaw lifted her head high, chest puffed out as she walked by the molly, “Evening” she muttered, true she hated the rouge but she still had her manner. “You seem to be spending a lot of time with Hollystar, what’s your game?” Peachpaw set the bundle of cobwebs in front of her before she spoke. As much as she’d love to not be around Kass, it was the easiest way to gain information.TylerParticipant@tylerJune 13, 2019 at 12:01 am #1342
Sometimes, Kass truly meant no harm. She just wanted to live her life uninterrupted and as smoothly as she could. Lately it had been hard to do so, what with the presence of eyes on her at all times of the day. Did the Clan think she didn’t notice? Whatever it was they had against her it didn’t do them any good to just sit there and stare. Speak up! Do something!
When Peachpaw followed her out of the clan the she-cat wondered how long she’d been trailing behind her. They hadn’t truly spoken since she was a kit, just small spats here and there in the Medicine Cat Den. Raising a kitty-brow she side stepped the apprentice so they could walk side by side. She dipped her head in greeting, “How’s it going little bird?” She hummed, cuffing the apprentices’ ear lightly.
Oh. That’s what she wanted to know about? Her and Hollystar?! The rogue scoffed, rolling her eyes. “What makes you think I’d tell you a thing like that? Only my friends get the gritty details,” she wiggled her eyebrows. “Besides, you might be a little young for that don’t you think?” If Peachpaw wanted direct answers she would have to press more into the conversation.PeachParticipant@peachJune 13, 2019 at 12:55 am #1344

While annoyed that the rouge was still around her clan and her leader, Peachpaw almost welcomed the distraction. Her thoughts had been taken over by the idea of losing her friend to the tribe cats, at least questioning Kass would help keep her mind off of it for a while. Not to mention her hatred for Kass overruled her the current sadness looming over her head. Peachpaw forced her bubbly smile outward before answering the rouge, “I’ve been well, rouge.” The term seemed to have rolled off her tongue without the apprentice even noticing her own words. A small growl aimed towards her when she cuffed her ears. “How have you been?” She questioned, during her time in training she learned having a simple conversation gives you more information that simply demanding or spying for it. “You know it’s funny, there are times when you’re with Hollystar that you almost seem like your part of the clan. Almost.”
Peachpaws nose crinkled upon hearing Kass’ words, her ear tips warming up, it was odd to hear a cat speak in such a manner to her about her leader. Clearing her throat the apprentice reformed her question, “You two seem to be getting along, that’s all I meant. Was just curious as to what she was to you? Simply looking after my leader is all” Peachpaws swing nervously behind her, her words weren’t a lie, she was looking out for Hollystar but also was doing her part in getting any and all information she could.
